Welcome!
Welcome.
I’m truly delighted to see you here. It has been quite a journey to reach this moment, and whether you’ve just found your way to this space or have been with me from the very beginning, I’m grateful you’re here.
The beginning of what?
That part is harder to name. For some time now, I’ve been traveling through a layered journey of discovery—one rooted in creative exploration, yes, but also in a deep curiosity about the human psyche. I wanted to understand what was happening inside my mind and my heart. I wanted to reclaim aliveness.
Fast forward to today. As a forest therapy guide, I’ve learned just how essential our relationship with the natural world is—for our emotional steadiness, our physical well-being, and our sense of belonging. My study has led me deep into the inner workings of the brain and the ways our modern lives have left many of us stretched thin, disconnected, or overwhelmed. I’ve gone from a woman who struggled to walk to someone who could hike a long, demanding trail. Along the way, I’ve come to understand that so much of our healing is about voltage—about the electrical and magnetic connections that pulse through everything, including us.
During a period of recovery, I found myself drawn into companionship with the trees and plants near my home—magnolia, balsam, motherwort, and pine—each one arriving in its season with a presence that carried both comfort and meaning. Through this daily closeness, I sensed an important learning taking shape: an awakening I hadn’t known I was waiting for.
Spring opened with magnolia blossoms, teaching me about resilience and the strength of family ties. Summer unfurled in the shade of pines and alders, where Himalayan balsam flourished and filled the days with exuberant color. In autumn, motherwort appeared—quiet, unassuming, but insistent—offering the reminder that what we need often reveals itself only when we are ready to notice. Winter brought a spacious stillness, a pause that invited me to rest inside silence.
What began as simple observation became an intimate awareness of kinship: a recognition that these beings are not separate from me but companions in a shared web of life. Their presence reshaped my understanding of healing, memory, creativity, and joy. My current project, Kinship, continues to unfold from this place—a living record of relationship, a testament to what the natural world teaches about belonging.
And this brings me to you.
Along this path, I’ve come to understand just how essential our human connections are. After all, we are nature—no less alive, responsive, or interwoven than the landscapes that hold us. In this space, I hope to open doors to connection, conversation, and creative exchange. My wish is that Rivers Speak in Voltage
becomes a place where curiosity is welcomed, where stories and imagery invite reflection, and where we can remember—together—what it means to feel deeply alive.
I’m so glad you’re here. Let’s begin.

May the voltage flow freely!
